Mask.

Before the pandemic,

when I went grocery shopping, 

I was always greeted with a friendly smile and 

some cheerful chitchat. 

Now the smiles are blocked with masks and 

their voices can’t be heard because of a plastic screen. 

Things have changed but I’m afraid not for the better.
